ok. Started my Mind Body and Sport training yesterday. Used the treadmill. Not really necessary unless you're training w/ Dr. John.
My resting heart rate is 76. My OTR is 133.
Oops. Forgot to do Sun Salutes after my workout today.
Today was running day, my real experiment. I did Suns, then rested at a walking pace while breathing 8 in and 8 out. Then I started my listening phase w/ music. OMG. I had to run SO SLOWLY to stay 130-140! But I had no pain, discomfort or shortness of breath. I was happy and free, and my form was excellent. I COULD HAVE RUN FOREVER once I started my performance/run for fun phase. I found the right pace for me was 4 breaths in and 4 out, very slow but bouncy, w/ music.
And, GET THIS, I ran into my neighbor who has MS and was riding his trike. I told him about my training, and HE DID IT, TOO! What a SMALL WORLD! I totally started my friendship w/ him at the right time!
I want to match my training w/ ChaLEAN and Insanity. I want to do Insanity W/IN MY OPTIMUM HEART RATE RANGE.
